Senior Data Analyst

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Type: Salary Clearance: SECRET — Must currently possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead advanced analytics supporting Army logistics and supply-chain operations at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

The Senior Data Analyst will lead the development of descriptive and predictive analytical products, analyze complex logistics and supply-chain data, develop data-driven insights, and support Government decision-making.

The successful candidate will have extensive analytics experience combined with demonstrated experience applying analytics to supply-chain or logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced data-analysis activities supporting logistics and supply-chain operations.
  • Develop descriptive and predictive analytical products.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Perform data mining and statistical analysis.
  • Develop statistical and predictive models supporting operational decision-making.
  • Apply machine-learning techniques where appropriate to analytical requirements.
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and other decision-support products.
  • Use tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI to communicate analytical results.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable information for Government and program leadership.
  • Evaluate supply-chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop analytical reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Ensure analytical products are accurate, supportable, and responsive to mission requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data analysts.
  • Coordinate with logistics analysts, developers, and Government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of analytics experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of supply-chain experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading descriptive and predictive analytics efforts.
  • Experience with data mining.
  • Experience with statistical modeling.
  • Experience applying machine-learning techniques.
  • Experience developing data visualizations and analytical products.
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Army or DoD logistics analytics experience.
  • Experience analyzing large logistics or supply-chain datasets.
  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards and decision-support products.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of analytical products or measurable supply-chain outcomes.
  • Experience mentoring or directing junior analysts.
  • Experience supporting Army organizations at Redstone Arsenal.
