Construction Project Manager - Full Time

Primary Location: Omaha, NE

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000/YR

Travel: Approximately 25%

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from initial scoping through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. What You Can Expect:

  • Manage all phases of assigned construction projects, including pre-construction planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues, delays, or cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership and clients.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections, including travel to project locations (~25%).
  • Support procurement and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination meetings.

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Above average computer / technology skills needed.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
  • Must have great attention to detail.
  • Must have a professional demeanor.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 – 7+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically (~25%).
  • Must currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, CCM, or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, or critical infrastructure construction projects.
  • Familiarity with estimating and bid preparation.
