• Design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated test suites using Cypress and JavaScript.

• Define and implement effective test automation strategies for complex web applications.

• Develop and execute end-to-end (E2E), integration, regression, and functional tests.

• Perform API testing to validate integrations, business rules, data consistency, and system behavior.

• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, and other QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in requirements analysis and technical discussions to identify potential risks and quality issues early in the development process.

• Ensure appropriate test coverage for new features, bug fixes, and critical business flows.

• Identify, document, track, and validate defects, providing clear steps and technical information to facilitate troubleshooting.

• Use Grafana and Sentry to monitor application behavior, analyze logs and errors, investigate failures, and support incident resolution.

• Investigate production issues and participate in root cause analysis, helping the team prevent similar incidents in the future.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous validation during development and deployment.

• Monitor automated test execution, analyze failures, and continuously improve test reliability and stability.

• Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing through automation while maintaining effective exploratory testing practices.

• Validate application behavior and data across different environments and configurations.

• Promote QA best practices and contribute to improving engineering and quality standards across the team.

• Mentor and support other QA engineers, sharing knowledge and helping improve the team's overall testing practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience (at least 5 years) in Software Quality Assurance and software testing.

• Strong hands-on experience with test automation using Cypress and JavaScript.

• Experience designing and maintaining scalable and reliable automated testing frameworks.

• Strong understanding of E2E, integration, regression, functional, and API testing.

• Experience testing modern web applications and distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and software development lifecycle practices.

• Experience with REST API testing and tools used to validate APIs and integrations.

• Good understanding of databases and ability to validate data using SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.

• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Sentry for monitoring, troubleshooting, error analysis, and incident investigation.

• Ability to analyze application logs, errors, metrics, and system behavior to identify and troubleshoot issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.

• Ability to take ownership of the quality of features from development through production.

• Strong English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js and the JavaScript ecosystem.

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.

• Previous experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools.

• Experience with performance and load testing.
