The Role:
Joining our Adults' and Children's Services Transformation Team, as a Project Manager or Senior Project Officer, you'll lead or support high-profile transformational programmes and initiatives that improve services and outcomes for our communities. You may be assigned to lead or support any workstream, project, or programme identified as a priority by the directorate or wider organisation.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage, or support, strategic projects and programmes across the directorate, delivering structured change using recognised project management methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support workstream leads and maintain robust project controls, including RAID logs, resource tracking, and cost monitoring.
- Prepare and lead, or support with, project boards and team meetings, producing high-quality reports and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes.
- Develop and oversee implementation plans, including PID reviews and performance modelling.
- Collaborate with other project teams to identify dependencies, share resources, and drive efficiencies.
