About The Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll help shape and scale the user experience of our accounting platform. Balancing a strong foundation in visual craft and systems thinking, you’ll create intuitive solutions for complex finance & accounting workflows.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to iterate quickly, respond to feedback, and ensure that every touchpoint feels refined. You’re expected to work autonomously, lead within your domain, and introduce frameworks that accelerate outcomes and improve quality across teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, technical constraints, and end-user advocacy into elegant design solutions that turn complex problems into straightforward, actionable experiences.
• Build prototypes and interactive flows to communicate ideas and gather feedback early.
• Work closely with product and engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver work on time.
• Lead projects independently, from initial concept to implementation.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems to bring consistency and efficiency across the product.
• Introduce processes and design frameworks that improve collaboration and speed up execution across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional design experience in B2B SaaS environments
• Proven track record of solving complex, multi-persona problems
• Able to manage multiple projects independently and proactively create impact
• Confident communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams
• Strong visual judgment, with an eye for detail and quality
• Willing to work in person at NYC headquarters with your team 4-5 days per week
• Fluent in AI prototyping tools like Claude Design

Bonus if you have

• Accounting and finance subject matter expertise
• Experience designing at a fast-paced startup environment
• Basic HTML/CSS skills or enough front-end knowledge to bring ideas to life

Job Compensation Range:

The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided by our Recruiting Team during the hiring process.
