The project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Project Director and is responsible for the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the programme quality plan in accordance with client requirements to ensure the delivery of a quality project. The role requires the application of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
·Lead and manage a QA/QC team to successfully deliver the programme to the required quality standards
- Develop, implement and monitor the programme Quality plan
- Communication of the quality plan and it objectives to staff, consultants and contractors
- Support all Consultants, Design Consultants and Design, Construction Supervision Consultants and contractors in the implementation of Quality plans and procedures and the monitoring of their performance on all Quality matters
- Develop and implement audit schedules and plans, including unannounced visits
- Develop statistical reports on Quality performance
- Identify and communicate lessons learned though the programme lifecycle
- Manage the programme quality control testing service
- Coordinate and manage any 3rd party audits as required
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- BSc, engineering, architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of total experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Middle East
- Experienced in the implementation and compliance to ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001
- Relevant QA qualification
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- User of MS Office
