Join the Movement for Health Empowerment at WISEcode

WISEcode is on a mission to transform how people understand, choose, and enjoy the foods they eat. We are not building another static health app. We are pioneering an intelligent, interactive experience that empowers families and businesses with clarity, confidence, and curiosity around everyday decisions.

Our powerful AI-driven platform is backed by one of the most comprehensive and transparent food datasets in the world: 15,000 data points per product feeding a scientific logic engine that shapes how food is understood. Now we are turning that platform toward a massive opportunity: building new products for the grocery retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager who can take those products from zero to one, from a blank page and a customer conversation to a shipped product that retailers and brands pay for.

If you’re passionate about health and wellness, have shipped software products for grocery retailers or CPG brands, know how to find the problem worth solving before writing a line of spec, and are excited about the challenges of a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, this role offers you the chance to make a tangible and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own new product development for the grocery retail and CPG industry end to end, from first customer conversation through concept, validation, MVP, and launch, taking each product from zero to one.
  • Run continuous discovery with retailers, CPG brands, category managers, and merchandisers to identify the problems our food intelligence platform is uniquely positioned to solve, and validate willingness to pay before we build.
  • Define lean, testable MVPs: decide what is in and what is out, write the requirements, and get a first version in front of real customers fast so we learn from the market, not from meetings.
  • Translate WISEcode’s data assets (15,000 data points per product, scoring systems, and ingredient intelligence) into product experiences that grocery retailers and CPG brands will adopt and pay for.
  • Lead pilot engagements with early retail and CPG partners, aligning internal teams on scope and timing, keeping every partner commitment on track, and converting pilots into repeatable products.
  • Create clear, well-structured documentation, including concept briefs, specs, user stories, and decision logs, so every team can move with confidence and no one is operating blind.
  • Work day to day with our Science, Data, and Engineering teams: running the agile ceremonies, making the prioritization calls, and keeping a distributed team building the same product.
  • Define success metrics and acceptance criteria for every launch, including evals for AI/LLM-powered features, so product and model quality are measured rather than assumed.
  • Support demos, RFP responses, and commercial follow-ups with prospective grocery and CPG customers, bringing the voice of the market back into the roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in product management, with software products you have personally shipped as the PM of record.
  • Required: experience developing software products in the grocery retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. You understand how retailers, distributors, and brands operate, whether through category management, merchandising, private label, retail media, or brand analytics, and you can speak their language on day one.
  • A proven zero-to-one product thinker: you have taken at least one product from concept to first release and first revenue, and you are energized, not paralyzed, by a blank page, ambiguity, and imperfect information.
  • Strong customer discovery skills: you run structured interviews, separate what customers say from what they will pay for, and turn qualitative signal into a validated problem statement.
  • Enough technical fluency with data, APIs, and AI/LLM-based systems to scope realistically with engineering and pressure-test a build plan, without needing to write production code.
  • The stakeholder skill to align scientists, engineers, executives, and external partners, and to drive decisions without formal authority.
  • Exceptional written and facilitation skills: concept briefs, specs, and updates that make complex work legible to sales, marketing, and executives.
  • A background or genuine interest in food, nutrition, or health data is a plus; curiosity and scientific literacy are a must.

What You'll Own in Your First 90 Days •

• Complete a discovery sprint with grocery retail and CPG prospects and synthesize it into a ranked, validated set of problems worth solving.

• Define and pitch your first zero-to-one product concept, covering MVP scope, success metrics, and a path to first revenue, and get it greenlit.

• Get a first pilot moving with a retail or CPG partner, with clear scope, timeline, and success criteria on both sides.

Why Join WISEcode? You’ll thrive here if you measure yourself by products shipped and customers won, not meetings held, and if you’re at home sitting between scientists, engineers, and commercial teams, fluent enough in each language to keep everyone building the same product. Where others see an untested market, you see a discovery plan, an MVP, and a path to first revenue. Startups shift weekly, and you keep the roadmap honest, the stakeholders informed, and the team moving.

If you are looking to be part of something that drives real change, WISEcode might be the place for you. We are a team genuinely committed to improving people’s health and well-being. We value transparency, creativity, collaboration, and empowering each team member to contribute their unique strengths.

This is an opportunity to define how families and businesses interact with intelligence, how curiosity turns into learning, and how thoughtful design can shape healthier habits at scale. Come help us build something that matters.

WISEcode is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
