About the Role

Join the mobile team at a consumer internet marketplace company and help build and scale its iOS app. You will own product features end to end, working closely with product, design, and backend partners to deliver polished experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship native iOS features in Swift, from early ideas through launch.
  • Define and evolve the app's architecture as the mobile team grows.
  • Create fast, polished interfaces and interactions for users.
  • Debug production issues and improve app reliability and performance.
  • Help establish engineering practices and standards for mobile development.

What We're Looking For

  • One to five or more years of professional iOS development experience using Swift.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling iOS apps, including MVVM or similar architecture patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS fundamentals, the iOS SDK, Xcode, Objective-C, REST APIs, and asynchronous data handling.
  • Experience contributing to a product used at scale, ideally a mobile app, in a startup, high-growth, or design-focused environment.
  • Ability to take ownership, work independently through ambiguity, and deliver projects from problem definition to launch.
  • Strong product instincts and attention to detail in UI and user experience.
  • Experience with consumer marketplaces or gamified products is helpful, as is familiarity with AI models and agentic workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $130,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

On-site in New York, New York.
