Arcesium seeks a talented Lead Project Manager to join its Account Management team and lead large-scale projects for some of our Flagship clients. This person will work directly with Arcesium’s large, complex, marquee clients and spearhead Arcesium’s Professional Services delivery program. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. The program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

• Proficiency with process governance: Ability to synthesize unstructured task lists into clear, repeatable steps which can be easily explained and formalized with the organization

• Proven history of successful solutions delivery

• “Roll up your sleeves” attitude: Self-starter who enjoys variety and can multi-task and balance numerous priorities simultaneously

What You will do:

• Lead large projects to ensure successful execution of our Professional Services book of work

• Manage a portfolio of technology initiatives across a variety of different disciplines to achieve each business unit's vision

• Coordinate and oversee deliverables across a distributed team

• Manage a discretionary development budget

• Present to, and collaborate with, senior members of a hedge fund organization

• Oversee implementation/transition projects for our largest and most complex flagship clients

• Oversee creation of deliverables for multiple projects across a distributed, cross-functional team both internally and with clients

• Solve problems and manage risks pre-emptively, while using metrics to drive projects forward

• Work closely with development and product management teams to design and implement solutions

• Present solutions and recommendations to executive leadership and influence decision-making to achieve business objectives

• Manage project details, from the creation of business cases and roadmaps, managing scope, budgets, schedules, resource allocations and stakeholders

What You will need:

• 8 to 12+ years of Project Management experience in client-facing roles requiring a high degree in consultative and solutioning skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead project management teams is a must

• Experience and domain knowledge of any of the functions in investment operations like Accounting, Middle office and Treasury is preferred

• This individual must be an organized, process-oriented problem-solver who can multi-task and manage competing interests

• Proficiency with project governance and experience in delivering successful client solutions is a must

• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are mandatory. Experience in data modeling is a plus

• Demonstrable ability to manage expectations and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including key executives including C-suite level

• Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to present to and persuade senior staff to engage with key initiatives and process improvements

• Thriving in a fast paced, deadline-driven team environment, while having a “roll up your sleeves” attitude is critical

• While an understanding of software development processes is preferred, a passion and aptitude for process-driven execution is a must
