The Role
We're seeking a Product Manager to join our Application Security and Performance initiatives within our Cloud WAF product line. This key position will drive critical aspects of our application security platform with regards to observability and visibility.
You will own this domain end-to-end – from understanding customer problems and defining product strategy, through roadmap and prioritization, to measuring customer adoption and business impact after launch.

As the owner of your domain, you'll tackle challenges that directly impact thousands of organizations worldwide. You'll be responsible for:
- Transforming complex data into intuitive, actionable insights for security and application development teams.
- Developing innovative solutions that balance robust security with optimal application performance.
- Building and executing a strategic roadmap that aligns with Imperva's business objectives.
- Connecting annual and quarterly business objectives to clear product investments and measurable customer outcomes.
- Driving adoption, customer value, and competitive differentiation.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and execution priorities for your product domain, contributing to the product strategy and aligning investments with Imperva's business objectives.
- Drive the development of innovative analytics capabilities that differentiate our platform.
- Define and track key product metrics to measure success and guide decision-making.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of customer challenges and translate them into clear product direction and requirements.
- Translate customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights into product strategy and measurable outcomes.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their evolving needs and validate solutions
- Work closely with the R&D teams through development on agile methodology including determining scope and priorities for product development cycles
- Collaborate with the UX/UI team to define the user interface requirements including: Mocks, UX specifications.
- Prioritizes stories and epics to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience with enterprise security, network or analytics products
- Previous experience in Engineering roles - advantage
- Track record of successfully launching data-driven features or products
- Strong technical background with understanding of web technologies and security concepts
- Experience in working with modern Agile methodology (e.g. SAFE)
- Experience with modern cloud architecture and their performance implications
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Excellence in strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving
- Curiosity and willingness to learn complex technical domains quickly
- Experience with security analytics, SIEM, or observability platforms – advantage
- Knowledge of application security concepts (OWASP Top 10, attack patterns) - advantage
- Background in performance optimization or web performance monitoring – advantage
