Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in web backend development with strong proficiency in PHP 8 and MySQL. A solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and cloud-based microservices is required, along with excellent English communication skills.

You will be:

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining, interpreting and developing software to written requirements and technical specifications
  • Suggesting improvements to existing products and implementing them across our platform.
  • Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product and databases to ensure it is functional and scalable
  • Assist QA in defining acceptance tests and performing troubleshooting
  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Write clean, well-designed code, following coding standards and best practices
  • Working with globally distributed and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Participate in mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities

Your profile:

Skills

  • At least 6+ years of experience with web application backend development and a good level of PHP 8+ and MySQL
  • Practical knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principles 
  • Solid experience using design patterns 
  • Experience with Unit and Integration testing
  • Experience with SQL, APIs and GraphQL
  • Knowledge of web product development and services, with awareness of the full-stack
  • A good understanding of building and operating cloud-based microservices
  • Good English communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience leading or mentoring others will be advantageous

Work from Romania region and a work permit are required.
