GSE Product Manager Adjacencies & Complementary– BU Global Services
For its Global Services Business Unit (GSE), VAT is looking for a talented Product Manager with profound knowledge in product portfolio management and customer strategy execution in an international high tech business environment, preferably in the aftermarket. In this role, you are responsible for corresponding product families. You drive the product portfolio throughout the product life cycle, starting from new product introduction, product sustainment activities to phase out, while making sure that execution is according to the customer requirements and processes. You bring strong technical and business acumen, demonstrate strategic thinking and know how to further building our customer trust and loyalty. You are able to provide fact driven solutions to solve complex problems and translate identified market & customer requirements into successful customer & product strategies with related market introductions plans.
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Own the Adjacencies & Complementary product- and service portfolio for BU GSE throughout its entire lifecycle.
- Analyze market trends, customer roadmaps and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and future requirements.
- Define and execute the product roadmap and product strategy in close collaboration and alignment with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales, and key stakeholders across the organization
- Drive innovation and develop end-user-focused solutions that improve performance and increase MTBM/MTBF
- Manage product profitability, pricing strategies, and product sustaining activities to ensure long-term competitiveness and business success
- Represent and promote the Adjacencies & Complementary portfolio in customer meetings, product presentations, and Technology Roadmap discussions.
- Develop and execute market launch, global rollout of the product, define sales guidelines and commercialization strategies.
- Act as the primary technical and commercial product expert for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervising all changes regarding supply chain, manufacturing and assembly processes and preparing documentation for customer relevant changes
- Supporting BU GSE and Sales Team with regards to all technical & commercial & operational aspects of Adjacencies & Complementary products
- Developing Service Concepts, Service Models, Design-to-Service, Spare Part Packages and Aftermarket Business models for Adjacencies & Complementary products
- Own and maintain product documentation, including operating instruction, product data sheets and technical manuals with Technical Documentation specialists
- Consulting the Global Product Managers and Sector Managers in highly complex technical questions, support 2nd-Level in escalations
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor/Master's degree in sciences / engineering or equivalent education
- Additional degree in economics and / or marketing or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position
- Experience in product management within a high tech international environment, preferably in the vacuum industry or
critical component B2B business
- Fluent business English skills written and spoken
- Strong technical acumen, business and strategic thinking, with proven ability to establish product strategies, drive portfolio growth
- Ability to provide fact driven solutions and to translate the market requirements into growth strategies with related execution plans
- Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical and communication skills
