About the role
Flo is seeking a contract Product Designer to join our Technology team on a full-time, 6–12 month hybrid basis. We welcome bold, inventive ideas to help us reshape the clean energy landscape and position Flo as the premier renewable electricity retailer across Singapore and Australia.
What you will be doing:
- Design end-to-end flows and interfaces across both our customer-facing products and Canopy, our internal console that powers energy retail operations—from signups and metering to billing and market interactions.
- Own your design work from problem framing through to polished, developer-ready handoff—translating PRDs and specs into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Simplify complex operational workflows into clear, efficient interfaces that help our internal teams work faster and smarter.
- Work within our design system and UX principles, using existing tokens and components, and flagging gaps where new patterns are needed.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with product managers, engineers, and operations teams, clearly articulating design rationale to drive informed product decisions.
- Take initiative in improving existing workflows, simplifying complex interactions, and enhancing usability through continuous iteration.
You will be a good candidate if you have/can
- Have 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer, ideally including B2B, SaaS, or internal tooling.
- Maintain a portfolio that showcases end-to-end product thinking and shipped product work—real flows, not just visuals.
- Are confident in owning the full design process—from discovery and ideation to prototyping, usability testing, and final handoff—with minimal hand-holding.
- Can make dense, data-heavy interfaces feel simple, with strong interaction design and information architecture skills.
- Use Figma proficiently, including design systems, components, and variables, and are comfortable picking up new tools as needed.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with cross-functional teams, articulating design decisions and facilitating collaboration.
- Work well in fast-paced environments and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Are available to work full-time on a 6–12 month contract in a hybrid setup.
Culture and Benefits
- A challenging role where you can make an impact from day one.
- Meaty, complex design problems in the clean energy space—energy retail is a fascinating domain with plenty to sink your teeth into.
- A lot of freedom and ownership to drive your work end to end.
- Work in an open-minded and dynamic environment with a talented team.
- A mature design system and established design practices to build on.
