Your Role
Translate the design team’s concepts into clear, practical work methods that can be applied on the shop floor. You’ll play a direct role in integrating new layouts, resolving assembly issues, and maintaining reliable manufacturing documentation.
This role combines hands-on shop floor work, technical collaboration, and office-based tasks.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and update manufacturing and assembly procedures, work instructions, and visual aids.
- Support the production team during the integration of new designs, components, and mechanisms.
- Keep bill of materials (BOMs), material lists, and parts lists up to date as soon as a change is approved.
- Coordinate changes originating from production or design, ensuring they are tracked and communicated to the relevant teams.
- Participate directly in testing, adjustments, and troubleshooting on the production floor.
- Report manufacturing challenges and opportunities for improvement to the engineering team, providing clear and concrete information.
- Collaborate with teams to make work methods simpler, more efficient, and more reproducible.
