IT Systems Analyst - Unified Commerce and Retail Solutions
This is a techno-functional role within IT Marketing and Sales Omnichannel & Unified Commerce, supporting the Unified Commerce & Retail solutions cluster in delivering and evolving Retail, eRetail, and related commercial business processes across markets.
The position acts as a key link between business, data, and technology, ensuring a consistent end-to-end approach across the Retail ecosystem. It contributes to core capabilities such as Retail Execution / Perfect Store, eRetail enablement, and content and syndication dependencies, with the objective of improving how Retail capabilities are designed, delivered, and scaled globally.
Over time, the role is expected to take on deeper technical ownership, including System Lead responsibilities for Retail or eRetail solutions and commercial portals, covering roadmap definition, lifecycle management, and service outcomes while continuing to act as a trusted techno-functional advisor.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between business, data, and IT teams to ensure alignment and end-to-end process consistency
- Support Retail & eRetail capability areas, including Retail Excellence and Perfect Store / Retail Execution
- Translate business needs into end-to-end process flows, functional requirements, and implementation-ready backlogs
- Contribute to global process standardization and support RFI/RFP activities where applicable
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align on processes, requirements, and delivery sequencing
- Support and progressively take ownership of technical aspects such as system architecture understanding, roadmaps, and releases
- Collaborate with architecture, integration, data, and delivery teams to ensure coherent solutions across the Retail ecosystem
- Strengthen solution quality, reliability, and technical expertise within the Unified Commerce landscape
Requirements
- Education: Relevant degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a techno-functional role (e.g., Business Analyst, Techno-Functional Consultant, Product/System Analyst)
- Experience acting as a bridge between business processes and IT solution delivery in enterprise environments
- Proven experience in system ownership, roadmap definition, lifecycle management, and service delivery
- Experience working in cross-functional and global environments with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
- Languages: English (mandatory, business fluent)
- Strong end-to-end system ownership mindset
- Solid understanding of Retail & eRetail technology landscapes (PIM/PxM, DAM, Retail Execution, omnichannel ecosystems)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across business and IT stakeholders
- Structured, pragmatic, and outcome-oriented problem-solving approach
- Ability to operate in complex environments balancing business priorities and technical constraints
- Ownership-driven mindset focused on long-term product sustainability
- Exposure to software development collaboration (release planning, CI/CD, testing)
- Understanding of system architecture, integration patterns, and platform constraints
- Experience with analytics, data integration, or master data management in retail
- Experience in global or regional rollouts across multiple markets
