Job Description
We are looking for a Network Administrator who wants to go beyond traditional network operations. In this role, the candidate will manage and continuously improve our worldwide network infrastructure, collaborate with leading service providers, and help shape the future digital landscape of medmix. the candidate will contribute to strategic technology decisions, drive innovation initiatives, establish global standards, and ensure secure and reliable connectivity for our international business. The role promotes combining technical expertise with strategic thinking to make a real impact in a global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating external network service providers.
- Manage the global WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructure, including the implementation and operation of the network environment.
- Plan, organize, and optimize the internal processes of the network team while ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Position the network team as a key partner for digitalization and as a driver of digital innovation within the company.
- Establish an innovation management approach to identify relevant IT trends and implement a unified IT strategy aligned with the business environment.
- Preparing the global budget and ensuring compliance with local legal entity requirements.
- Define and maintain clear network guidelines and ways of working while keeping documentation and visual overviews up to date.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., as an IT specialist, preferably with relevant further qualifications.
- In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with Cisco, firewalls, troubleshooting, security, ISE, and wireless technologies are required.
- Stand out through ability to work in a team, as well as careful and independent way of working

Professional Experience:
Several years of mandatory professional experience in the network environment as a consultant are required, with solid hands-on experience acquired over multiple years.
