The Role This is an exciting new position for Concurrent which will support the Concurrent Systems Division by producing clear, accurate, and high‑quality technical documentation for products, systems, and proposals.

What will I be delivering? Key Requirements:

  • Composition and maintenance of product documentation including embedded compute cards and ruggedized processing systems targeted at the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Typical deliverables:• User Manuals,
  • Product Specification Sheets
  • System Architecture Documentation
  • Proposal Content
  • Manage documentation workflow:• Version Control and QA
  • Document Lifecyle
  • Maintaining document repositories
  • Interview engineering professionals and subject matter experts to interpret technical information to extract information used in the production of quality technical documentation

What do I need to bring with me? Essential knowledge & experience:

  • Technical writing and product documentation
  • Engineering, technician or similar technical background
  • Proficiency with MSWord, Adobe, and other relevant word processor and publication software
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence or other document repositories
  • Professional writing prose that is accurate, concise, and consistent
