Job DetailsJob Location: Charleston Division - North Charleston, SC 29405JOB PURPOSE: To manage the construction and delivery of residential homes that are built adhering to established plans, specifications, and quality standards at or below budgeted cost, on or prior to scheduled delivery dates, while maintaining a superior level of customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities Manages construction in multiple home construction sites with 15-30 homes under construction Maintain job site and model home safety and cleanliness Develop and communicate home construction schedule to sub-contractors Obtain all governmental and local jurisdiction required inspections Provide training to Superintendents to develop and foster career advancement Develop accurate and timely settlement reporting Review and approve site area figures Ensure that sub-contractor work quality and performance adhere to Company policies Establish and maintain construction site budgets; ensure budget compliance Conduct pre-construction meeting with homeowners to review contract, options, schedule, etc. Develop and maintain positive relationship with Customer Service to resolve issues Ensure that Superintendents attend weekly production meetings Conduct 90-day and annual reviews of Superintendents with Production Manager Other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge and Skills Ability to work under pressure; organized Ability to multitask; coordinate numerous activities and groups of people Highly motivated; ability to work with minimal supervision Strong team player; works with diverse groups of people Commitment to customer service Ability to read and fully comprehend construction blueprints specifications and development plans Ability to coordinate performance action plans Valid driver’s license Education and Work Experience 2-4 years experience in the construction industry as a project manager or superintendent High School graduate or GED equivalent Prior experience in supervising or assisting new home construction projects preferred Qualifications
