Requirements

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to early-solutioning work by supporting Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and other roles to review the feasibility and high-level estimation

2. Develop code and automated tests for test cases to meet the expected functionality and acceptance criteria

3. Ensure the code produced by the team is managed properly, peer-reviewed, and meets expected standards by participation in the code review process

4. Collaborate with other teams as necessary to ensure the shared goals are met

5. Support deployment of the application to higher environments by following and supporting enchantment of the CI/CD process as necessary

6. Create documentation for the project and product’s features developed by a team in accordance with accepted standards

7. Analyse reported defects and incidents and work on resolving these as per the appropriate priority agreed upon within the team

8. Understand and effectively participate in the core processes of the team (planning, bug fixing, metrics review, etc)

9. Share new ideas and can adapt his/her work when circumstances change

10. Listen and act upon feedback from manager and peers and use it for further career grow

11. Learn to interview and assess candidates to help build a diverse and talented team. Consistently provide timely, detailed, and evidence-based interview feedback.

12. Develop code with high-quality standards. Ensure that the code is error-free, allowing seamless collaboration with other team members, including QA Engineers. Place emphasis on comprehensive documentation and thorough testing, making effective use of project tools

13. Capable of reading and navigating through code written by someone else

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience on a similar position in commercial programming with

the required programming language (Javascript/Typescript, React, Angular, Node frameworks)

  • Using IDE and CI/CD related tools (e.g. Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Git,

Docker)

  • Knowledge of design patterns and software development standards
  • Ability to learn new technology and methodology quickly.

Nice-to-Have Skills
