Position: Power BI Developer - Long Term Contract
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our organization's business intelligence platform using Microsoft Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs
- Create data models and data visualizations using Power BI
- Perform data analysis and data cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports and dashboards
- Develop and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions
- Train and support end users on how to use Power BI and self-service reporting tools
- Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve our reporting capabilities
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Power BI and its components (Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX)
- Experience with data modeling and data visualization techniques
- Proficient in SQL and data manipulation
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
