Company Description

The Production Data Analyst, reporting to the site logistics manager, is a key member of the mill operations and supply chain support team. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and availability of production data across ERP and analytical systems (Oracle, Qlik, QIS, GFAO, etc.) The analyst drives data-based decision making, supports operational performance reporting, and partners with operations, finance, supply chain, and quality to improve plant efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

· Promote and maintain a safe mill environment in alignment with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

· Ensure office and data-handling areas follow 5S standards and are clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times.

· Validate, enter, and audit production data across Oracle, Qlik, GFAO, QIS, and other manufacturing data systems.

· Ensure all production jobs are closed accurately and on schedule; resolve discrepancies proactively.

· Maintain data pipelines between quality, production, supply chain, and ERP systems to support reliable reporting.

· Oversees raw material, WIP, and finished-goods data accuracy within Oracle.

· Support month-end inventory reconciliation and investigate any variances.

· Reconcile raw material consumption and investigate inventory variances. Work with logistics manager, finance, and production to resolve within 24 hours.

· Ensures raw material consumption accounting is accurate and provides summarized account of production jobs that positively affect operations.

· Utilizes the ERP (Oracle) system to improve mill efficiencies and lessen inventory variances.

· Audit production entries for accuracy and correct any discrepancies.

· Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards (production, yield, waste, downtime, inventory DOH, inventory variances).

· Analyze trends, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights to operations leadership.

· Translate complex data into clear, concise reports for cross‑functional teams.

· Monitor data flows from QIS, GFAO, PLC/MES systems into Oracle.

· Generate standardized daily/weekly/monthly production reports.

· Partner with Finance to ensure alignment between production reporting and financial reporting requirements.

· Collaborate with Quality to support problem‑solving efforts using data (Pareto analysis, , Fishbone, 5-Y, SPC trends, etc.).

· Provide backup support for the Shipping Coordinator, including shipment documentation, carrier scheduling, and Oracle transactions.

· Communicate fully and professionally with superiors, subordinates, and others who have a need to know.

· Identify process gaps and propose data‑driven solutions to increase throughput, reduce waste, and optimize material flow.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives, including KPI tracking and improvement project documentation.

· Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support plant operations and business needs.

Qualifications

· 2–3 years of experience in production data, supply chain analytics, or manufacturing operations.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas; VBA preferred).

· Experience working in ERP systems (Oracle strongly preferred).

· Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross‑functional, matrix environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Highly organized, self‑directed, and driven to improve systems and processes.

· Understanding of Plant KPIs. (OEE, Waste, Throughput, OTD, etc.)
