Full description

PCI Professional Services is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer for an upcoming contract. This role is onsite and reports to the Program Manager. Position is contingent upon contract award.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the design, implementation, and operation of security controls for a classified, multi-domain IT environment.
  • Working under the guidance of senior cybersecurity staff, this role applies approved security baselines and hardening standards to systems, applications, and network components
  • Performs vulnerability scans; analyzes findings
  • Assists with testing, patching, remediation, and validation activities.
  • Documents control implementations, assessment evidence, test procedures, risks, and corrective actions to help maintain the environment’s authorization and assurance posture.
  • Additional responsibilities include monitoring security events, supporting incident response, maintaining configuration and vulnerability records, and coordinating with systems, network, software, and program teams to resolve security issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • One to two years of relevant experience
  • Must have and maintain an active DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • DCWF Basic qualification or the ability to obtain it
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
