Jaxon is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $105,000-$125,000
Schedule: Full-Time
Travel Requirement: As Needed
Security Clearance Requirement: Department of Defense Top-Secret Security Clearance

Primary Duties
- Manages multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements are met while supporting overall business objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using MS Project, coordinating personnel, resources, and project activities to ensure successful execution.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication, guidance, mentorship, and support to drive project success and team development.
- Oversee project risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, issue resolution, and continuous monitoring to maintain project continuity.
- Coordinate project purchasing, logistics, and documentation, including the development of technical, contractual, and cost-related project deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to improve project management processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus 2-5 years of experience in field.
- ... OR 5-7 years of experience in project management or related field such as construction, manufacturing, DoD contracting, or EMP protection.
- Comprehensive expertise in industry's best practices for project management.
- Advanced understanding of DoD contracting mechanisms (instruments, scope, schedule, funding/budget).
- Proficiency in MS Project, NetSuite or other ERP systems, and Bluebeam.
- PMP is desired.

- Willingness to be coached and learn new skills in growing industry.
- Orchestration of the purchasing and logistics for project execution.
- Strong proficiency in the effective management of personnel and resource schedules to ensure optimal allocation and utilization.
- Strong ability to effectively lead, manage, and mentor project management teams.
- Experience coordinating project teams and schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and improve processes.
- Strong and effective communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with both clients and internal teams.
