Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Management, this role is responsible for business casing, analytical assessments, and performance management for Air Canada Product and the Aeroplan program.
Responsibilities
- Analyze problems and situations, and their impacts on the Loyalty and Product businesses.
- Directly engage with the Product team to support strategic recommendations for Product investments. For example, financial impacts of new lounge investment, new on board food technology platform.
- Working closely with the Loyalty team, build solutions and support business cases for internal and external partnerships, technology improvements, and program changes.
- Manage performance, holding self and others accountable to effectively and efficiently complete work responsibilities, and focuses on excellent execution.
- Using PowerBI and SQL, analyze data on key Aeroplan program and product metrics for ad hoc performance requests and to support recurring operational and financial performance meetings.
- Respond resourcefully and show nimbleness when faced with new challenges and demands.
- Effectively manage the pressures and complexities of various situations and move forward positively and productively under conditions of change or uncertainty.
- Looking for someone who has the motivation and ability to grow from this role into more senior roles within the organization.
- University degree required.
- At least three years of experience.
- Proven track record in attaining/exceeding goals.
- Analytical mindset and passion for numbers.
- Analytics, Consulting, Finance and/or other quantitative experience.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills that include communication of client opportunities and explanation of financial performance.
- Focus on operational excellence.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
