The Vacancy

We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Product Quality Assurance Engineer.

In this role, you will represent the Quality function across manufacturing and engineering, taking a proactive approach to preventing quality issues before they occur and ensuring our products meet the required standards for quality, compliance and reliability. You will monitor product quality throughout the development, assembly, testing and inspection stages, working closely with Manufacturing and Engineering colleagues to identify and resolve non-conformities and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and enhance product quality and conformity across manufacturing and engineering activities.
  • Monitor product quality through product audits, spot checks, process observations and out-of-box inspections.
  • Identify, contain and resolve product non-conformities to prevent defective products reaching customers.
  • Analyse quality performance and trends using appropriate statistical methods and tools, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing colleagues to implement effective corrective actions and countermeasures, supporting Design for Quality (DFQ) and Design for Manufacture (DFM).

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Recent and relevant experience in a similar quality engineering or product quality role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies and tools, with experience using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant industry standards, with ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style and influence colleagues across different functions.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive, detail-focused and starter-finisher approach to driving quality and change.
