Change Project Manager
Nordic Investin Group Stockholm, Maine, United States
IT Services and IT Consulting · 201-500 employees
About the role
You will lead the people side of project delivery by assessing stakeholder impact, building integrated change plans, and ensuring operational readiness. The role involves coordinating training, managing adoption risks, and aligning change activities with technical and process milestones.
What they look for
Requirements
Candidates should have strong experience in change management and project delivery, along with the ability to analyze stakeholder impacts and manage risks. Excellent communication and facilitation skills are required, with professional proficiency in English.
Full description
Nordic Investin is recruiting a Change Project Manager on behalf of one of our partner companies. You create the conditions for people to adopt change without confusing communication activity with actual readiness.
The partner is introducing new processes and ways of working across several employee groups. You will lead the people side of delivery, connect stakeholder impact with the project plan and make adoption risks visible early enough to address them.
Projects are judged by operational outcomes, benefit ownership and the quality of decisions made along the way. Governance should create clarity and momentum while making risk visible early enough for meaningful action.
How you will work
You will create a practical delivery rhythm across workstreams with different owners and incentives. The partner expects concise preparation, explicit dependencies and decisions recorded clearly enough to survive handovers. Escalation should bring options and consequences, not only a problem statement.
As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. Seniority here means broader judgement and follow through, not distance from delivery.
What you will do
- Assess stakeholder impact, readiness and adoption risk.
- Build an integrated change and engagement plan.
- Equip leaders and managers to communicate and act.
- Coordinate training, support and local change networks.
- Track adoption evidence and respond to resistance patterns.
- Ensure change activities align with technical and process milestones.
What you will bring
- Strong change management and project delivery experience.
- Ability to analyse stakeholder and role impacts.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Experience working with senior leaders and frontline teams.
- Structured planning, risk and dependency management.
- Professional English; Swedish is useful for local implementation.
Experience that would add value
- Prosci, ACMP or comparable change training.
- Enterprise system or operating model change.
- Unionised or regulated environments.
A background that can succeed here
You may come from project management, organisational development, communications or consulting. The partner needs someone who can listen carefully, identify what must change in daily work and challenge plans that assume awareness automatically becomes adoption.
What makes the opportunity interesting
You will influence whether an important investment creates value after launch. The role combines strategic stakeholder work with practical implementation and offers direct access to both programme leadership and affected teams.
The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.
The recruitment conversation
During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
How to apply
Apply with your CV or LinkedIn profile and a short note describing the most relevant organisation, service, project or financial process you have helped improve. Nordic Investin welcomes candidates with different routes into the profession and assesses applicants on relevant capability, judgement and potential.
