Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing, capacity planning, system logging, and maintaining production reliability.
  • Proven depth and experience with Google infrastructure including MapReduce/Flume, Dremel, F1, etc.

Your work will impact billions of ABC users.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Poland: zł280000 - zł287000 (PLN) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Build a low-latency pipeline to detect clients regressions.
  • Engage various cross-team collaborations within an organizaton of ~400 engineers to define the way logs/metrics should be exported, processed and consumed.
  • Enable automated release/experiment gating (CAS, Mendel-Autoramp, RastaMon Policy Servers).
  • Build, evolve and maintain innovative infrastructures to process data in large-scale.
