Job Title: Informatica Data Analyst Experience Level: Junior (L2: 3-5 years) Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Summary:  We are seeking a Informatica Data Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in data integration and analytics environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, Hadoop/Hive, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux environments. The role will involve developing, maintaining, and supporting data integration solutions, working with enterprise data platforms, and contributing to projects related to credit risk and financial risk management. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x. 
  • Develop and maintain mappings, sessions, workflows, transformations, and related ETL components. 
  • Work with Hadoop ecosystem technologies, including Hive, Impala, and Beeline, for data processing and integration. 
  • Develop and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and queries. 
  • Work with AS400 and Oracle as source and target systems. 
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation activities. 
  • Work with Informatica Metadata Manager 10+ for metadata management and analysis. 
  • Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational activities. 
  • Schedule and monitor batch processes using Control-M. 
  • Support ETL jobs and troubleshoot production issues in Linux/Unix environments. 
  • Follow the development lifecycle methodology and ensure successful delivery of assigned Informatica development activities. 
  • Participate in DevOps-related activities, including deployment and release processes. 
  • Contribute to projects involving Credit Risk, Customer Scoring, Basel, and IFRS 9 requirements. 

Required Skills: 

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in data integration, ETL development, or system analysis. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter 10.x or above. 
  • Experience working with AIX and/or Solaris environments. 
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. 
  • Working knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, Impala, and Beeline. 
  • Good knowledge of Shell Scripting. 
  • Experience with Control-M scheduling and batch processing. 
  • Experience working with AS400 and Oracle source/target systems. 
  • Experience with Informatica Metadata Manager 10+. 
  • Understanding of software/development lifecycle methodologies. 
  • Basic to good understanding of DevOps practices and deployment processes. 

 

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

  • Experience in Credit Risk implementation. 
  • Experience with Customer Scoring Engines. 
  • Knowledge or implementation experience in Basel regulatory requirements. 
  • Knowledge or implementation experience in IFRS 9 / iFRS9.
