Flow Control Group is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our growing Information Security team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and continuously improving security technologies and processes that protect the organization's users, systems, applications, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize security platforms including industry-leading CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Proofpoint, ThreatLocker, Zscaler, and MDR services.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Azure security initiatives.
  • Administer identity and access controls, including MFA, SSO, and Conditional Access.
  • Develop security standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen security posture and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with several listed security technologies.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure and Microsoft 365 security experience.
  • PowerShell or Python automation experience.
  • MDR and threat intelligence experience.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, SC-200, SC-300, or AZ-500.
