What You’ll Be Part Of
As a Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of HARMAN’s strategic cybersecurity initiatives. This is an individual contributor role responsible for managing complex, cross-functional projects that strengthen the organization's security posture, reduce cyber risk, and support business objectives. Working closely with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, Digital Workplace, Engineering, and business stakeholders, you will coordinate enterprise-wide security initiatives ranging from infrastructure hardening to deployment of new security technologies. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with HARMAN's cybersecurity strategy and governance standards.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise cybersecurity projects from initiation through implementation and operational transition.
- Manage a portfolio of cybersecurity initiatives, including infrastructure hardening, security tool deployments, vulnerability remediation programs, penetration testing engagements, compliance initiatives, and security modernization efforts.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, risk registers, and executive status reporting for multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, End User Services, Engineering, Procurement, and business organizations to achieve project objectives.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests while ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with cybersecurity architects and technical leads to translate business and security requirements into executable project plans.
- Coordinate internal and third-party penetration testing activities, ensuring findings are tracked, prioritized, remediated, and validated.
- Oversee the implementation of new cybersecurity technologies, ensuring successful integration into existing operational environments.
- Establish project governance, communication plans, and executive reporting to provide visibility into project health, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, consulting partners, and third-party service providers supporting cybersecurity initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity project management processes, standards, and delivery methodologies.
- Ensure project deliverables align with HARMAN's cybersecurity policies, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture standards.
What Makes You A Strong Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex technology or cybersecurity projects within enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability management, infrastructure hardening, identity security, cloud security, security operations, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience managing cybersecurity technology implementations, infrastructure modernization projects, or enterprise security programs.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while balancing competing business priorities.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including interactions with senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to proactively identify risks and drive successful project outcomes.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar cybersecurity certification.
- Experience delivering Microsoft security, cloud security, identity, or endpoint security projects.
- Experience managing enterprise penetration testing, vulnerability management, or security compliance initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity programs within large multinational organizations.
