Benefits
Full description
Technical Health Porduct manager
Location: Fully Remote (Germany)
Industry: HealthTech / B2B SaaS
Compensation: €60,000 – €90,000 + meaningful equity
Languages Required: Professional German (C1) & English (C1)
About the Role & Mission
Our core objective is straightforward: liberate psychotherapists from burdensome administrative routines using intelligent AI tools, returning valuable hours back to direct patient care. As our inaugural Technical Product Manager, you will assume overall responsibility for our flagship AI-driven clinical and administrative software solutions from day one. Operating 100% remotely within Germany, you will position yourself at the cross-section of state-of-the-art LLM capabilities, real-world therapeutic practices, and European medical device regulatory frameworks (EU MDR). Working side-by-side with our founding team, CTO, clinical researchers, and UI/UX designers, you will helm user discovery, draft technical documentation, establish AI output quality benchmarks, and take novel software capabilities from initial concept through to live production deployment.
What You Will Do
- Drive End-to-End Ownership: Direct user discovery, product specification, roadmap prioritization, and feature rollouts within a distributed remote team setup.
- Guide Product Strategy: Define and communicate our product roadmap, weighing critical trade-offs between incremental platform improvements and transformative new projects.
- Uncover Deep User Needs: Engage directly with mental health practitioners via remote interviews, contextual observations, and workflow analyses to transform complex user pain points into executable product requirements.
- Build AI Benchmarks: Co-create accuracy benchmarks alongside our engineering and clinical teams for AI-assisted documentation, embedding these criteria into robust evaluation frameworks and prompting strategies.
- Draft Technical Specs & Prototypes: Author detailed specifications and edge-case operational models; leverage modern AI tooling to quickly build independent product concepts without relying solely on developer availability.
- Embed Compliance (EU MDR): Incorporate regulatory compliance standards (SaMD / EU MDR) directly into early product designs, coordinating risk control and clinical review procedures into your core workflow.
- Launch & Refine: Partner closely with go-to-market functions to launch fresh functionality, monitoring real-world usage metrics and rapidly iterating based on practitioner feedback.
What We Are Looking For
- Must-Haves:
- 4+ years of B2B Product Management experience, with a track record where success derived from mastering deep product complexities rather than high-level project coordination.
- Proven experience operating in intricate/regulated software environments: Demonstrated success shipping software inside high-stakes domains (e.g., HealthTech, MedTech, or heavily regulated spaces). You excel at balancing strict regulatory rules (EU MDR), specialist end-user expectations, high quality standards, and technical AI potential.
- Practical LLM knowledge: Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model boundaries, evaluation frameworks, and the steps required to deploy reliable AI features into production.
- Clear written communication: Exceptional skill in drafting precise specifications, architectural decision records, and asynchronous problem briefs.
- Hands-on execution: A self-driven work ethic focused on authoring specs, building test suites, and personally testing clinical outcomes.
- Language Proficiency: Professional German (C1) and English (C1) skills.
- Location: Residence in Germany for full-time remote employment.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Direct background with digital health software or certified medical devices (EU MDR, IEC 62304).
- Academic background or practical experience in psychology, mental healthcare, or therapy operations.
- Track record of scaling generative AI applications or establishing evaluations for live production models.
- Early-stage experience as a initial product manager or establishing 0-to-1 product frameworks.
Core Values & Mindset
- Empathy: We build software with deep respect for care providers, making sure our tech reduces administrative friction rather than creating extra work.
- Trust: We maintain uncompromised standards regarding data privacy, patient security, and internal team transparency.
- Quality: We prioritize technical precision and medical accuracy over superficial features—our platform must consistently support actual clinical care.
- Autonomy: Strong personal initiative, clear accountability, and self-direction within an asynchronous, remote-first environment.
What We Offer
- High-Impact Role: Work closely alongside the founders and CTO as our very first PM, directly guiding the trajectory of core software products.
- Purpose-Driven Work: Actively reduce burnout among therapists by automating heavy paperwork demands.
- Rapid Professional Growth: Build at the leading edge of generative AI, clinical research, and medical software compliance.
- Agile Execution: Fast-paced environment where ideas transition into live production features in a matter of days.
- Flexible Working: Fully remote employment within Germany, 28 annual vacation days, competitive salary (€60,000 – €90,000), and a generous equity package.
