Position description The Project Manager is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives from intake through completion, ensuring projects stay on scope, on time, and aligned with business priorities. This role owns coordination, communication, and accountability across teams while facilitating tradeoffs, surfacing risks, and escalating issues when needed. Project scope may include strategic initiatives, operational improvements, compliance-related efforts, and special projects based on business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource needs.
- Support project intake to ensure initiatives are clearly scoped, prioritized, and set up for successful execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional project activities, track deliverables, and drive accountability across stakeholders.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and changing priorities; adjust plans as needed to keep work progressing.
- Facilitate clear communication across teams and serve as a primary point of contact for project updates, inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates, reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead or support special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, compliance-related workstreams, and operational improvement efforts.
- Partner with technical leads, business systems, legal, and other departments to coordinate project work of varying scope and impact.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to influence outcomes and support successful project delivery.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures, attend required training, and perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing deadlines, coordinating teams, organizing or coordinating projects, and communicating effectively across an organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Strong analytical skills, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively on projects with minimal direct supervision.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to meet applicable ITAR requirements, if required for the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience supporting cross-functional business initiatives, operational improvements, or compliance-related projects.
- Experience creating project reports, executive updates, presentations, or stakeholder communications.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, facilitate tradeoffs, and proactively escalate risks or issues.
- Experience working in manufacturing, technology, engineering, or a matrixed global organization.
- Project management certification or formal project management training.
Travel required: Minimal travel may be required based on business needs.

For this position, the typical annual starting base salary range will be determined based on role level, location, skills, qualifications, and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position and does not include variable incentive pay, if applicable.
