To reinforce our team of experts, we are seeking a Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience who views security as "understanding how systems truly work." You will be responsible for full cycle software development - Requirements, Development, Automation, Support and Launch Releases. You will also be embedded in a cross-functional team of analysts, product managers, architects and developers collectively striving to quickly deliver high-quality, high-value software. The ideal candidate should be able to enhance and establish automation to layout SDLC-related processes and integrate them into an Agile Scrum software development framework. Understand security issues, including vulnerability, exploits, phishing, intrusions & malware and detect those threats on our applications. Motivated to anticipate issues and bottlenecks before they adversely impact delivery schedules and Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Codes complex application components based on design specs, while adhering to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques, and development methodologies.
  • Design, develop, debug, while ensuring scalability, performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team members, including Product Management, Customer Success, QA, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering to ensure we meet the business needs in a timely fashion.
  • Perform development on complex systems, requiring a deep understanding of both business objectives and technical architecture.
  • Participate in team planning sessions and daily scrums meeting
  • Adapt and respond quickly to changing requirements and provide deliverables in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in related disciplines.
  • Experience in software design, development and automation is necessary.
  • Experience in developing Restful web services (APIs), spring applications and Unit testing using JUnit/TestNG.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and good understanding of SDLC, STLC.
  • Experience in working with embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, problem solving skills.

Required Skills:

  • Must have proficiency in at least 1 programming language (Java,Python etc).
  • Strong knowledge in Operating Systems, multi-threading, callbacks & scalability concepts.
  • Experience or strong knowledge with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Good understanding of web services, RESTful APIs, Rest Assured framework along with XML, JSON schema, documents, validation and parsing.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience/Knowledge with Gradle, maven, Github, NewRelic, kibana, Splunk, Swagger, Kong dashboard, Postman, and JIRA.
  • Good understanding of cyber security and network penetration testing, Man-in-the-Middle attacks, SSL stripping techniques, network vulnerability assessment, rogue access points, and Reconnaissance scans would be a plus.
