Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. We help companies connect, protect, analyze, and act on their data and applications wherever they live, from edge to cloud, so they can turn insights into outcomes at the speed required to thrive in today’s complex world. Our culture thrives on finding new and better ways to accelerate what’s next. We know varied backgrounds are valued and succeed here. We have the flexibility to manage our work and personal needs. We make bold moves together and are a force for good. If you are looking to stretch and grow your career, our culture will embrace you.

Job Description

HPE’s acquisition of Juniper Networks is one of the most significant moves in the company’s history, bringing two networking leaders together to build HPE Networking, with the ambition of creating the best networking business on the planet. This role sits at the center of that effort as part of the Lead-to-Cash (L2C) program, responsible for unifying quoting, ordering, and fulfillment across the combined HPE and Juniper networking portfolios onto a single platform, replacing fragmented legacy systems with one seamless, scalable experience for sellers, partners, and customers worldwide.

As part of a fast-moving, multi-year transformation, the team will stabilize near-term operations, migrate core platforms, onboard businesses and suppliers globally, and build new capabilities from the ground up. The choices made here will shape how the combined networking business operates for years to come. You will work closely with business leaders, IT architects, suppliers, and partner stakeholders on a program with direct executive visibility, solving integration challenges at a scale few companies ever attempt.

For the right person, this is a rare opportunity to help build a new business unit from its earliest days, rather than inherit someone else’s systems. You will gain hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale platform integration and cross-functional program leadership, with the kind of complexity and pace that can accelerate your career. If you want your work to have a visible impact on a company making a significant investment in its future, this is where that happens.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a Senior SAP Master Data Analyst to lead our enterprise-level material master data governance strategy and continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will act as the global custodian of our material data architecture, ensuring high data quality, seamless product lifecycle integrations, and optimized system performance. While S/4HANA migration experience is valuable, your primary focus will be establishing long-term data standards, workflow automation, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Master Data Strategy & Governance: Establish data lifecycle rules to govern creation, maintenance, archiving, and deletion of material records globally.
  • SAP MDG: Configure SAP Master Data Governance for Material (MDG-M) for centralized data creation, change requests, and approval workflows.
  • Data Quality Framework: Set validation rules and use SAP Information Steward or SAP Data Intelligence to remediate master data anomalies.
  • Replication Control: Manage master data replication from SAP MDG to target systems using the Data Replication Framework (DRF).
  • Fit-Gap Analysis: Evaluate legacy customizations against standard capabilities to eliminate redundant custom code and document the to-be functional specifications.
  • Integration & Support: Ensure seamless data flows between boundary applications and peripheral modules.
  • PLM to SAP Bridge: Map complex data structures from PLM systems (e.g., Oracle PLM Cloud, Teamcenter, Windchill) into S/4HANA Material Masters and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Engineering Change Management: Align Engineering Change Orders (ECO) with SAP material statuses to strictly control effective dates for New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Classification Systems: Build and maintain SAP Classification hierarchies, classes, and characteristics to capture technical engineering specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Operations: Partner with Engineering, Sales, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure all material master views (MRP, Accounting, Sales, Plant/Storage) are accurately configured and maintained.
  • Mass Maintenance Execution: Utilize advanced mass manipulation tools to confidently execute large-scale, controlled updates to material master parameters.
  • Continuous Optimization: Monitor the tools, utilities, processes to identify areas for improvement and provide solutions to optimize the performance and improve quality
