Full description
Company
Pramaana Labs is a frontier AI lab building the verification layer for AI. Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Palo Alto, we turn complex human knowledge, including tax codes, legal rules, clinical guidelines and security protocols, into a formal representation, so every AI answer can be traced, challenged, and proved. Pramaana's architecture pairs foundation models trained to formalize and reason with a symbolic world model encoded in Lean 4. Pramaana was founded by a team out of Google, DeepMind, and Glean, combining frontier AI researchers and formal methods experts.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Product Manager to turn Pramaana’s formalization and verification capabilities into products people use and trust. You’ll own a product area from discovering the problem through launch and adoption, working closely with engineering, research, design, domain experts, and our commercial team.
Our planned product areas include the self-serve workbench and developer experience, Harbor for tax, and government products. Each PM will have a defined product area; this shared draft can be tailored to the relevant audience and workflow. You’ll help establish direction, make practical trade-offs, and stay close to users as the product evolves.
What You'll Do
- Discover valuable problems. Talk to users, observe workflows, and identify where formalization and verification can deliver a measurable improvement.
- Own product direction and priorities. Define the target user, use cases, roadmap, and success measures for your product area. Make clear choices about what to build next and why.
- Translate technical capabilities into usable workflows. Define requirements, user journeys, and acceptance criteria with engineering, research, design, and domain experts.
- Make verification understandable. Help users inspect sources, assumptions, supporting evidence, unresolved questions, and changes without overstating what the system has established.
- Drive delivery and iteration. Scope experiments and releases, resolve dependencies, test with users, and follow through on quality and adoption after launch.
- Measure outcomes. Track activation, repeat usage, task completion, time to value, and product quality; use evidence to guide decisions.
- Partner with the commercial team. Support demos and customer discovery, bring market feedback into the roadmap, and distinguish reusable product needs from customer-specific implementation requests.
You Will Thrive in This Role If You Have
- Experience taking a technical product from an ambiguous problem to shipped software and sustained usage, with clear examples of your decisions and their outcomes.
- Strong customer discovery and product judgment. You can identify the underlying need, test assumptions, and prioritize with limited time and resources.
- Technical fluency. You can discuss APIs, data flows, model behavior, and system constraints with engineers and researchers, then translate them into clear product choices.
- Ability to lead across functions through clear reasoning, practical scoping, and follow-through.
- Comfort with information-rich workflows where correctness, evidence, and user trust matter.
Especially Strong Candidates May Also Have
- Experience with developer tools, self-serve software, enterprise AI, or products used in regulated workflows.
- Relevant tax or government workflow experience for the corresponding vertical role.
- Experience as an early PM, establishing product practices and helping a technical team find repeatable adoption.
