JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an important member of our Finance team, you will:

  • Manage the intercompany process, ensuring accurate reconciliation and settlement of intercompany balances.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement) and note disclosure requirements to parent company, adhering to IFRS.
  • Conduct technical accounting analysis under IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
  • Be an active member on the Accounting Policy Compliance Committee.
  • Provide guidance to BU Finance teams on accounting policy compliance and technical accounting matters under IFRS.
  • Liase with Constellation head office as required.
  • Liase and coordinate internal, external & government audit requirements.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as required.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field and CPA designation required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience working in a Financial Reporting/Accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of Consolidations and IFRS.
  • Advanced skills and experience in MS Office Excel
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information/technical accounting matters to diverse audiences. 
  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and organizational agility.
  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Great Plains accounting software an asset.
