Salesforce Training and Adoption Specialist
0.6FTE, continuing opportunity located at the University of Sydney Utilise your expertise in training, stakeholder engagement and CRM adoption Base salary + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The University of Sydney's Advancement Portfolio (TAP) is seeking a Salesforce Training and Adoption Specialist to help build capability and drive effective use of our bespoke Salesforce CRM platform, Jarvis. This is a highly collaborative role that combines stakeholder engagement, Salesforce expertise, learning design and user adoption.
Working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, you will design and deliver engaging training programs, develop digital and on-demand learning resources, and provide ongoing support to help users maximise the value of the CRM platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining Salesforce training materials and resources
- Delivering CRM training, onboarding and role-based learning activities that build user capability and confidence
- Building strong stakeholder relationships to understand capability needs and support the adoption of system and process changes
- Providing ongoing CRM support, troubleshooting and user guidance
- Using data, feedback and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement in training, support and adoption outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools and collaborate with business champions and subject matter experts to enhance learning, knowledge sharing and user engagement.
As a 0.6 FTE continuing role, this position offers flexibility and would suit an experienced professional seeking a meaningful part-time opportunity where they can combine relationship management, learning and development, and CRM expertise to make a portfolio-wide impact.
About you
You are a relationship-focused professional who enjoys helping people build confidence and capability through effective use of systems and technology. You combine strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience in Salesforce or a similar CRM platform and can translate complex concepts into practical, user-friendly solutions.
You are equally comfortable facilitating training, developing learning resources, analysing user needs and partnering with stakeholders to improve adoption outcomes. You bring a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset and enjoy working across teams to deliver practical outcomes that support business success.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
- Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring or facilitating learning programs
- Experience creating and implementing training materials and support resources
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence across diverse groups
- The ability to translate technical concepts into practical, engaging and user-friendly solutions
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
