About Apollo

Apollo Information Systems is a cybersecurity services company delivering comprehensive security and compliance programs to organizations that need measurable protection without the burden of building it alone. Backed by a Series A investment led by Syn Ventures, Apollo is pioneering a cybersecurity-as-a-service model that replaces fragmented tools and episodic engagements with unified, outcome-driven security programs.

Through Apollo Aegis - a subscription-based cybersecurity and compliance platform - and a full portfolio of managed security, advisory, assessment, incident response, and offensive security services, Apollo helps organizations reduce risk, simplify operations, and maintain continuous compliance. Apollo's primary markets include state and local government, K-12 and higher education, and mid-market enterprises, with deep specialization in election security.

Our Culture

We are growing rapidly and have significant expansion plans and growth capital. We foster a collaborative environment where deep cybersecurity expertise meets business acumen, enabling our professionals to solve complex security challenges while building lasting client partnerships. We pride ourselves on our integrity and ethics. You’ll find smart, professional, mission-driven, hardworking, genuinely kind and good colleagues here. We primarily work remotely but have a hub in Denver.

Position Overview:

We need a Salesforce admin who can own the steady stream of day-to-day requests — permission changes, access fixes, user support, and the small stuff that piles up fast when nobody's dedicated to it full-time. Right now there's a backlog of roughly 70 tickets sitting in queue. You'll work through that, then keep pace with what comes in. This position will assist with daily tickets, requests, troubleshooting, and admin hygiene. The ideal candidate is a self starter who leans on AI to solve problems you haven't seen before. This is a part time position offering 10-20 hours per week on an extended basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user access and permissions — set up new users, assign permission sets, grant app/report/dashboard access, and handle role and sharing
  • Work through the internal request queue — triage, resolve what you can, and document changes clearly.
  • Diagnose and fix flow errors, broken automations, and other everyday breakage
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day CPQ (Kugamon) quote and order issues — submit errors, PDF generation, quote/line validation errors, pricebook and SKU maintenance
  • Build and adjust reports, dashboards, and list views, and make small configuration, field-level, and layout changes on request
  • Navigate a historic Salesforce instance and help work down an aging backlog — not just handle net-new requests
  • Use AI tools to work through unfamiliar problems
  • Flag recurring patterns or systemic issues that point to bigger problems worth escalating

Qualifications

  • Required
  • U.S.-based, eligible to work in the U.S. And pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Background Check.
  • Hands-on Salesforce administration experience (permissions, flows, basic configuration) across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. You don't need to be senior — you need to genuinely know how the platform works and be able to act independently.
  • Comfort using AI tools to solve problems fast. This is a core requirement, not a bonus. We want someone who reaches for AI to close a knowledge gap and figure things out rather than waiting to be told — and who can tell when the AI is wrong.
  • Strong written communication — you document what you changed and why.
  • Able to pass a background check (this role touches sensitive data and access controls)
  • Preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • CPQ experience (Kugamon a plus, but any CPQ helps — resourcefulness and AI matter more than prior Kugamon exposure)
  • Service Cloud / case management experience
  • Experience cleaning up or working within an older/legacy Salesforce org
  • Familiarity with Lightning and general platform navigation
  • Background in tech, IT, or services environments (cybersecurity experience is a nice-to-have, not a requirement)

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, the company covers 100% of employee premiums and 90% of dependent premiums on base plans
  • Unlimited PTO, 7 paid sick days, and 11 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with 4% company match after 90 days, immediately vested
  • Company‑paid life insurance at 1x annual salary
  • Company‑paid Short‑Term Disability (STD) and Long‑Term Disability (LTD) coverage
  • $125 monthly home‑office tech stipend for internet, equipment, and other technology needs
  • Amazing colleagues, a collaborative environment, and a supportive, growth‑focused culture
