About the Role As a Fire & Security Engineer within Premier’s PPM & Reactive team, you will support the successful delivery of fire and security maintenance and reactive maintenance. You will be responsible for achieving your service schedules to the levels expected by the company and communicating with line managers and other stakeholders.

Role would require inclusion onto the company Call Out Rota. This is currently running at 2 days/nights every 13 days.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       An all-round and competent engineer with good knowledge of both Fire and security systems.

·       Primarily undertaking Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm PPM visits.

·       Providing, when required, attendance to undertake reactive call outs for both fire, intruder and security systems.

·       Sites maintained would be predominantly public sector buildings, such as schools, colleges, libraries, etc. However, the area of operation would also cover private education and healthcare sites.

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

·       Experience of fire systems listed below is essential:

·       Advanced Electronics, Apollo

·       Experience of security systems listed below is essential:

·       Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom

 

Desirable:

·       Experience of security systems listed below is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided:

·       Access Control – NSP, Paxton

·       CCTV – Hikvision
