JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- 40% HIL/SIL test development and execution, 30% test automation and scripting, 20% issue investigation and debugging, 10% team collaboration, reviews, and planning.
- Develop, execute, and maintain validation tests for embedded control software using dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, and automation tools
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide additional testing support for the team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Years of experience: Minimum of 2-4 years experience
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or relevant field required.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- HIL/SIL Validation & Testing
- dSPACE toolchain & MATLAB/Simulink
- Python, gtest C++ Automation & Embedded Software Verification
- Experience with CAN/J1939 communication protocols and Vector tools (CANoe/CANalyzer) for embedded systems testing and diagnostics.
- Experience in ECU integration, system-level verification, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, version control, and test automation framework development.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, perform hardware setup, and troubleshoot HIL/SIL test environments.
- Familiarity with diagnostics, fault injection, and validation reporting tools
