About the job

Java L3 Support Engineer (Banking Domain)

Location: [Singapore]

Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 3 (L3) support for Java-based banking applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Monitor and manage batch jobs using Autosys and other scheduling tools.

Work with Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) for data processing and analysis.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams for system improvements.

Support incident management, change requests, and performance optimization.

Required Skills:

Strong Java, Spring Boot, Microservices expertise.

Hands-on experience with Autosys and batch processing.

Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).

Expertise in SQL, Oracle, or other relational databases.

Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).

Strong debugging, log analysis, and performance tuning skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

Prior experience in banking/financial applications.
