Requirements

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of data analysis experience in a federal environment. Proficiency in data analytics tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Full description

The Senior Data Analyst will support data-driven assessment, analysis, validation, and decision-making activities associated with enterprise requirements management and contract portfolio optimization initiatives. The analyst will transform disparate data sources into actionable recommendations and executive-level insights. 

 

This position will be supporting the DoD remotely and report to the Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, aggregate, normalize, and analyze enterprise operational and acquisition data.
  • Assess requirements, contract portfolios, acquisition activities, and resource alignment trends.
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, duplication, fragmentation, and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards, data visualizations, analytical reports, and executive briefings.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support roadmap development.
  • Validate findings through stakeholder engagement and data verification activities.
  • Support performance metrics and reporting development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience performing data analysis in a federal environment.
  • Experience using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable data analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience presenting findings to senior leadership.

Desired Qualifications

  • DHS or CISA experience.
  • Experience supporting acquisition, requirements development, portfolio management, or strategic planning initiatives.
