Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Customer Director, Support Functions), define project strategies, and lead project activities from transfer to close-out, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of project governance and stakeholder coordination, but also ensure compliance with applicable standards and proactively manage risks and opportunities.
We’ll look to you for:
• Owning the Project Management Work Package (WP) and being accountable for project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance.
• Defining project strategies and aligning objectives with contract requirements.
• Leading and coordinating project activities and stakeholders, including resource management and team leadership.
• Ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements and managing variation orders.
• Proactively managing risks, savings, and opportunities to optimize project outcomes.
• Representing the project to Alstom management and external stakeholders with transparency and professionalism.

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience as a sub-system/component manager, qualified project manager, or manager of an operational scope, with a total of at least 15 years of professional experience in Rolling Stock (RS).
• Experience working in and with multinational companies and across diverse business cultures.
• Knowledge of project management processes and railway products and systems.
• Strong skills in team management, communication, and negotiation.
• Leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and a results-oriented approach.
• IPMA Level C certification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Familiarity with Alstom’s way of working for efficient process execution is a plus.

• Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from monotonous daily routines.
• Work with new security standards for rail signalling.
• Collaborate with transverse teams and supportive colleagues.
• Contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of mobility.
