Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. (KVE) is an award-winning engineering firm seeking a transportation-focused Project Manager to lead transportation projects (roadway, highways, and municipal infrastructure) from design through construction.

Job Description

Multiple locations available

This is an ongoing hiring opportunity that may be filled at any of the following Kaw Valley Engineering offices:

  • Lenexa, KS
  • Kansas City, MO
  • Junction City, KS
  • Wichita, KS
  • Emporia, KS
  • Garden City, KS
  • Salina, KS

What You’ll Do

  • Manage transportation projects (DOT, roadway, and municipal) from start to finish
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and agencies (KDOT, local municipalities)
  • Oversee design, plans, specs, and permitting
  • Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving forward
  • Coordinate internal teams and mentor junior staff

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
  • PE license (or close to obtaining)
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
  • Experience with DOT standards, roadway design, and permitting
  • Strong client-facing and project leadership skills
