We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our evolving finance team at Keyton. Based at our Melbourne office, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency across our portfolio of retirement villages. The successful candidate will join the team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

As a Finance Analyst at Keyton, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency across our portfolio of retirement villages. This dynamic position involves managing resident billing, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and driving process improvements to optimise cash flow. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to provide insightful financial analysis.

Reporting through to the Finance Manager – Enterprise Support, your key accountabilities in this role will include:

  • Managing monthly resident service fee billing for a portfolio of villages with accuracy and care
  • Supporting accounts receivable, monitoring balances and providing advice to village team when needed
  • Supporting accounts payable including processing vendor invoices and reconcile vendor statements
  • Daily cash management including recording bank transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Performing bank account reconciliations for allocated villages
  • Preparing and posting general journals
  • Working closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and support financial integrity
  • Identifying and implementing ways to streamline financial operations

Who You Are

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance
  • 2–3 years’ experience in accounting and/or high-volume accounting transaction experience such as journals, reconciliations and general ledger management
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build cooperative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Intermediate Excel and/or Power BI skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A mindset for continuous improvement and learning
