DevOps Engineer
Experience: 2-5 years of hands on experience
Location: Newcastle (Must be local, or willing to relocate to Newcastle)
Working pattern: Hybrid- 3 days a week in the Newcastle office
Salary: between £35k-45k dependent on experience level.
We're seeking DevOps Engineers who enjoy automating processes, building scalable environments and supporting development teams through modern DevOps practices.
What you'll be doing • Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Configuring tools such as GitLab, Jenkins and SonarQube
- Automating infrastructure and deployment processes
- Supporting cloud-based solutions
- Working with developers to improve release quality and speed
- Managing containerised environments
What we're looking for • Building, maintaining and optimising CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Scripting and automation using Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Configuration and administration of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab and SonarQube
- Environment provisioning and deployment automation
- Release management and deployment practices
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and system support
- Agile delivery experience and collaboration with development teams
Essential RequirementsTo do well in this role, you’ll need:

- Ability to work across development, testing and operations teams
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Ability to obtain SC clearance
