Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting multiple .NET, Angular and database applications using GitHub Actions.
  • Automate build, test, security scanning and deployment processes to improve engineering productivity and software quality.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Packer.
  • Manage and improve our engineering platform, including GitHub runners, SonarQube, Snyk and Artifactory.
  • Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines for integrated application environments used by dev and test teams
  • Maintain automated test infrastructure used for Playwright and Ranorex test execution, including nightly and on-demand test runs.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers and testers to improve development workflows, build quality and delivery efficiency.
  • Support administration and continuous improvement of Azure-hosted development and test environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help establish DevOps standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build Engineering or a software development environment.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar platforms.
  • Experience automating software delivery processes for complex application landscapes.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and HashiCorp Packer.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Python.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server and Windows-based application environments.
  • Experience with tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Artifactory
  • Understanding of software development processes and experience working closely with development and QA teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automated testing infrastructure and tools such as Playwright or Ranorex.
  • Experience with Azure administration, virtual machines, backup strategies and resource management.
  • Experience with Linux and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience supporting MSSQL Server deployment and automation activities.
  • Azure certifications.
  • German language skills.
