Job Description

We are actively seeking a seasoned and passionate Senior Python Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape of our product. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible not only for delivering top-tier code quality but also for driving innovation, implementing best practices as we navigate the ever-evolving startup environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop high-quality, robust Python code that meets and exceeds industry standards.
• Lead initiatives to continuously review and elevate internal code quality standards.
• Participate actively in decision-making processes, contributing to architectural design and technology research.
• Tackle diverse and complex problems related to scale, performance, and business logic.
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding to production incidents, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system reliability and availability.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of overall development experience with at least 3 years dedicated to Python development, including Linux environments.
• Familiarity with the Django web framework.
• Proficiency with Relational Databases, showcasing expertise in indexes, database queries, schema creation, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers and a strong understanding of best practices for cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, firewalls, etc.) is required.
• In-depth knowledge of software development best practices.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum software development, including sprint participation and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Independence, organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal English communication are essential.
• Effectively use AI-powered development tools to accelerate software delivery, enhance code quality, support troubleshooting, and improve developer productivity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
