About BABLE
BABLE was founded in 2017, with the goal of creating a digital knowledge exchange around smart city topics. Since then, we have grown into an international team of over 50 experts working with cities, companies, and public organisations across Europe to accelerate urban innovation and sustainability.
Today, BABLE develops digital tools and services that help organisations better understand cities, urban challenges, and public sector opportunities. One of our core SaaS products is the City Insights Manager, a platform designed for companies working in the B2G (business to government) space. The platform supports organisations in identifying relevant city challenges, market opportunities, and strategic insights to better engage with the public sector and accelerate urban innovation projects.
The Role
As Product Manager, you will take ownership of the development of BABLE's digital products, with a strong focus on the City Insights Manager platform.
You will also play an active role in building and maintaining (AI-powered) automation processes that are scalable, using tools like Claude and others.
You will work closely with developers, designers, urban innovation consultants, and external stakeholders to turn BABLE’s product vision into practical product improvements aligned with user needs and business goals.

- Collaborating with companies, cities, and partners to identify product opportunities.
- Designing and maintaining AI-assisted workflows to automate and standardise internal and external processes.
- Tracking product adoption, performance, and feedback, and translating insights into concrete next steps.
What We Expect from You
- Experience managing digital products or SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies.
- Know how to handle data and databases, which is at the core of our digital products.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, automation platforms) and a genuine interest in building AI-powered workflows, shaping how it's integrated into the way we work.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An analytical and user centric mindset.
- The ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with B2B or SaaS is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with smart city technologies or data platforms is a plus.
AI Savvy
We expect you to be comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work to support research, analysis, automation, and workflow efficiency, while being curious and proactive about building AI-driven workflows that improve the way we work.
