Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support the implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, with a focus on the Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, mapping data between legacy and third-party interface systems, and supporting end-to-end testing efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can work effectively within a large, distributed team supporting a public sector technology initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Business Analysis

• Analyze user requirements, current procedures, and business problems to identify opportunities to automate or improve existing systems.

• Confer with business and technical stakeholders to define input/output requirements, data formats, and reporting needs.

• Write detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify system functionality.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts to align business needs with system capabilities.

 PeopleSoft FSCM Implementation

• Support implementation of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules.

• Map data between legacy systems and third-party interface systems.

• Evaluate system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine feasibility of requested changes.

 Testing & Integration

• Perform hands-on, end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.

• Support functional and regression testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.

 Documentation & Training Support

• Prepare clear, detailed documentation of processes, requirements, and system changes.

• Support training efforts and knowledge transfer for end users.

 Collaboration & Communication

• Work effectively with a large, remote, cross-functional team.

• Communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Participate in team collaboration tools and meetings to ensure alignment on project goals.

 Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a business/systems analyst working with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.

• 8+ years of experience specifically with Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations.

• 8+ years of experience gathering requirements and conducting fit-gap analysis with subject matter experts.

• 8+ years of experience performing hands-on, end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.

• At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

• At least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Teams in a large team setting.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within a large remote team.

 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a public sector organization (federal, state, or local government).

• Experience with state government financial systems (e.g., CAPPS Financials or similar platforms).

• Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).

• Experience with SharePoint.

• Experience with Jira.

• Experience working within a Scrum framework.

• Experience with STAT (software change management tool).
